The Defensive line did have a horrid showing.
Giving up something like 8.4 yards a run was the stat for the first half. Just couldn't seem to get a paw on anyone.
But the thing that caught my eye was the admonition that they've failed to get qualified help to be a wing man for Donald. If it's true, and the Gaines kid doesn't have some sort of immense 2020 season, it will devastating. A tragedy really.

Pre-game Radio guys thought that Kupp would have a leading role if the Rams were to win. Certainly the last couple of games were are seeing a determined effort to minimize Kupp. I guess question might be is why coach didn't realign some stuff to offset that scheme?

Miss all the fun that we enjoyed for the last two seasons. Coach has eliminated some sweeps, and to my eye it appears that Goff's field vision has gone askew. Have a lot of reasons why, but I sure hope it resets soon.
Then, the Gurley factor.
First, we dind't get things blocked up. NOT blocked up. Stoned in the backfield !!
Second, Gurley either doesn't have or isn't using his full tool set. He failed to jump cut given a clear opportunity last night; failed to change gears when given a clear opportunity.
Third, Coach isn't playing to Gurley's strengths. No outlets, no wheels. Add that we haven't seen a designed roll out by Goff in some time. Giving Goff a different angle, especially to find Gurley just seems easy.
Crossing fingers, and ready to rinse the taste out of my mouth with rebound in AZ
