Its the mental toughness that concerns me -for all the reasons I've said. First of all to be an NFL player you have to be tough in the physical sense. There are no cry babies out there. Truth be told most are vicious, head hunting, psychopaths. That's what it takes to play at this level in this particular "sport". When I speak of the weather and soft living in So Cal I"m referring to the small edge a player may lose mentally because life is truly easier here than anywhere in the world. It impacts all of us here. It's not much but a slight edge loss-which players from opposing teams may not experience. And with teams so very balanced that's all that's needed. So-did the Rams give up after 14-0. To a man they would never say yes. And neither would I because I don't believe they did. But did they lose a small edge? I think they did.
