"The simple fact is the Rams are soft"
With some notable exceptions over the years this to me is a truism. Not just now but overall in the past. The problem I see is most people believe that this can be fixed-maybe not this year but certainly in the future. I don't. We will always need to win with glitz never with toughness. For the same reason you see so many fans of other teams at our games. The weather ! Here we don't have to shovel snow, drive and walk on ice, bear hurricanes, tornadoes, northeasterlys , unbearable heat, horrific mugginess, no-the weather here is always the same-perfect ! Do you know what that does? It makes for soft landings. Losing here is just a tiny bit easier than losing in Seattle, Green Bay, New England, Chicago, Baltimore, and yes even in San Francisco where the weather is far more harsh than here in So Cal. And on top of that Hollywood, the wonderful beaches, theater, museums, bikinis, moderate oceans-well unless your made of steel it will soften you just enough to take the edge off-or to put it another way-softens even the best athletes. They are only human. So the answer is to win with glitz like the Lakers were for so long-not toughness like the Celtics, etc.
