Arthritic knee pain

the above is an interesting and IMO informative article that could easily be related to what Gurley is facing. I'm interested in this stuff due to my age. While I have two artificial hips my first one was many years ago and I'm staring to have arthritic pain in the joints on that hip. It comes and goes. One day I'm perfectly fine and I go out and do some hard yard work. The next day I say "why did I do that". Interesting that swimming, especially in the ocean, seems to make it better-but only temporarily. It comes and goes and I suspect we can't expect Gurley to run like he did last night every single game from now out. Some game days it won't bother him much but there will be other days when it does. Arthritis doesn't heal. It's symptoms come and go. One thing we can't assume is that everything if fine and all McVay needs to do is run him as much as possible. But I suspect they know all this.
