I am very interested to see how Bredeson does against Ala. in their bowl game. As am I interested in seeing Humphrey against Clemson.
Some Senior Bowl guys Rams fans should probably be paying attn to:
Shane Lemieux - OG - Oregon - He fits as a day 2ish OG that can work in a power scheme or outside zone. Excellent size, good hands and can move
Trey Adams - OT - Washington - so many injuries, but when healthy, a first round LT prospect. He is the ultimate boom bust pick. His medicals will be important
DL - Leki Fotu Utah, Marlon Davidson - Auburn and Rae Davis - Alabama - I think they are all day 2 and more then likely 2nd round picks. They all could help the Rams. I love Davidson as a DE in the Rams 34 or Fotu as a NT/DT in the 34
Benito Jones - Ole Miss - a plugger in the Gaines mold, but this guy actually moves well.
Neville Gallimore - right now I think he is flying under the Radar, he won't for long. He will dominate the Senior bowl, and the combine and should end up squarely in round 2, maybe early 3. Strong, excellent hand moves and relentless
Edge defenders:
Terrell Lewis - Alabama - probably day 2, long and angular and a speed to power guys with enough flex to win on the edge
Jon Greenard - Florida - bigger edge that has a nice array of pass rush moves and big enough to play the run. 2nd round maybe 3rd...
Jabari Zuniga - Floridas other pass rusher - not as polished but he's a tazmanian devil.
TEs
Brycen Hopkins - Purdue - my #2 or 3ish TE right now. I want to see him catch the ball at the senior bowl. I have concerns, but he gets open.
Jared Pinkney - Vandy - great size and not afraid to use it. Not a freak athlete, but creates such a size mismatch in the middle of the field.
WRs
Denzel Mims - Baylor - no one is talking about him because of all the WR talent in college football this year, but a 6-3 210 long armed explosion. Track speed plus catch radius makes him a deep threat/redzone target.
Collin johnson, Pittman and Claypool - all big WRs, I want to see if they can create seperation or if they are high point/ possession types. Pittman has had a heck of a year and he sounds like a real good lockerroom presence so he's on my radar.
RB
Lamical Perine - Florida - showed some HR speed this year against Auburn. Tough between the tackles and has just enough wiggle. You can get him in the 3rd or 4th round.
Ke-shaun Vaughn - Vandy - He has great size for a workhorse back, with good feet and change of direction skills and can take it to the house. I want to see him catch a pass at some point this off season
Theres plenty of others, but these are my highlights. I left off Javon Kinlaw DL from South Carolina because he is an absolute animal that will go in the 1st round probably around where the Rams would have drafted.
