I truly think this has more to do with McVay than anyone.
He simply has not adjusted. Even this last game.....there was nothing different, coming off a bye week. Same old stuff. Really, really weird, because no one would think he doesn't know how....he just isn't doing it.
I'd only bench Goff towards the end of the season to protect him from injury.
I'd run Todd until he dropped. He's either our RB or he isn't. They can't hide that stuff. RB's need to get into a rhythm.
This could be McVay's career defining season if he can work through this adversity. It could be his finest hour. Everyone knew this was coming.......it happens to all great coaches. He better have a shiny new game plan on Sunday night or the wheels have come off.
