I can't believe some of these posts.
You guys, McVay is 33 years old and he took this sinking ship and got it floating again. Took this team to the Super Bowl last year.
Wade had his defense ready to play yesterday......They looked like a solid unit out there. Some bad calls kept the Steelers in the game, but that's how the NFL want's to call the games, so be it. Still surprised McVay did not throw the flag to challenge PI on that last throw.
2 things about the offense, which is nowhere near the 30 pt average the last two seasons.
1. Rams banked this season on Gurley's knee and it has backfired. Something is up and it will " have to come out soon" because even Capt. Obvious knows #30 is nowhere near 100% healthy. No sugar coating it. You can't hide it. Stop all the blah. blah BS. The centerpiece of the offense is just a fraction of what he used to be and the "TRUTH" needs to be told. What's up?
2. OLINE is horrible. When this unit is suffering, the entire offense pays for it. Rams banked on youth, and it backfired.
Goff is almost immediately under pressure because the defense is not concerned one bit about our running game. They pin their ears back and don't think twice about our RB's. Injuries, sure the Rams have them, something they avoided for the last 2 seasons. The game is won and lost in "THE PITS" and right now, we are losing that battle....Big Time.
It's not Goff or the WR's.......It's the big guys up front that need to get going.....Without them, the entire "O"Unit will struggle.
On to Chicago......Let's get to 6-4.........2 home games back to back......Maybe some home cooking will get us to 7-4....Go Rams!
