Everything you wrote is true and seems to be catching up to this team much quicker than even I imagined.

I'd like to add a couple of things/concerns:

1. Weddle looks done - constantly out of position and misses tackles frequently. I'd like to see them get Rapp in there and have Weddle coach him up as a back up. I love his veteran moxy, but it isn't showing up in his play anymore. Is it me, or has Weddle's regression coincided with JJ going down?

2. Why in the world is Jalen Ramsey playing 10 yards off the ball?? We go out and give away first round draft picks for arguably, the best man to man CB in football....and then have him play off the ball ten yards and mostly zone. Seriously, WTH???? I am beyond done figuring out what Wade is trying to do, but you bring in Ramsey to be a press man CB. Otherwise, whats the point?

3. I think we could lose Littleton, Fowler and Matthews this off season. This team will be down to LBers that are better as back ups and situational roles. Terrifying. I am really scared of losing Littleton. I think Fowler is gone and I have no idea one way or the other on Matthews.

4. I agree about wasting Donald's best years. It makes me so angry. Especially watching Robert Quinn lead the Cowboys in sacks. Brockers is seriously the definition of a JAG. Sebastian Day is a back up. Tanzel Smart? Who knows. Imagine how frustrated AD is.

5. If something dramatic doesn't happen with Gurley (and it doesn't look like it will) this team is in big trouble with that money eaten up on a blocking back that runs 10 times a game. Those are a dime a dozen. Serious question: can the Rams go to him about reworking that contract? Would he agree? He would agree to a re-structuring, because that would mean more guaranteed money, but he isn't giving any back. And even if he agreed, the players union would not. It would set a bad example.

6. Neglecting this offensive line is gross incompetence. You lose Saffold and Sullivan and had no plan. The guys on Sunday Night Football just commented on it......the Rams are tanking due to the offensive line. It's embarrassing to get this bad, this quick. You can't put a QB in that situation. Agreed. And I am not advocating for a OL with all 1st and 2nd round picks, but you need some actual talent until the young guys get up to speed. If they ever do.

7. COACHING - This season has been abysmal in the coaching department. I honestly can't explain what I'm seeing, but no one is afraid of McVay's offense anymore. More teams will double Cooper and it will be game over, no more moving the ball. No Todd, no Cooper, no Cooks....refusal to use the TEs or employ more of a west coast system, short, quick passing......I just don't get McVay......at all. I'm most disappointed in his performance this season. Wade isn't any better....... what is going on with our DBs? Why do our corners play like this? We did this with Peters and now the same with Ramsey? IMO McVay needs a coordinator or at least a guy to bounce stuff off of. I would have already had Jay Gruden in as at least a consultant. I am done with Wade. Cool dude, but he is out of his element.

Weirdest season I can remember. It looks like a lost season unless they can play some of the young guys (David Long, Rapp at FS, Obo, etc.) and see what we have. McVay has been acting weird since the beginning of the season.I think he had an inkling of an idea what the season had in store as far as the OL, but never had a clear plan on how to fix it. So this is why this offense looks like it has no identity. McVays identity as a HC has always been 11 personnel and play action. I think he knew it would be less effective this year, but how ineffective or how to fix it was unknown.
