The only way to get the Dolphins to approve the trade was to throw in a 5th rd pick. Otherwise, there's no incentive for the Dolphins to trade for an injured A.Talib who is currently on IR and pick up his remaining salary.
Another note.....I like how the Rams get rid of a problem before it becomes a problem. Talib was going to be released after the season anyways, so the Rams trade him now, get him off the books and look ahead to the future with the Roster and the Cap. Start crunching the #'s for Ramsey and other players!
