Personally, I think its the : "its either black or its white" culture. Its not news worthy unless its "bold". Your irrelevant if your part of the crowd-you should be in the lead. Being calm is insignificant-being loud is to be heard. Being in the audience is soft but being on the stage is hard core. One should be seen otherwise you disappear into mush. "Go big or go home".
