Especially to someone who has been in his short Ram career so important to the elevation of this team. A more polite way of saying might be: " he is clearly limited compared to his peak performances as a Ram. " And unless he decides to quit we need to accept what he is -and that is a much different Gurley than before. If we don't make the playoffs because of a lack of running game then there is always next year. But right now and in the foreseeable future this picture ain't going to change. Most of his playing days will look like today but there will be the occasional flashes reminding each of us of how good this guy really was and could have been. Much like today where for the most part he did not look like an elite player. Then a hole would be wide open and bam he looked good. Or like the td run where he simply out ran the defender. But there will not be any more days of him jumping over players-rest assured.
