Goff's extension doesn't kick in until 2021. His salary will probably by typical for a starting QB by then, and by 2023 he could well be considered a bargain. It's a mistake IMHO to compare what Goff will make in 2021 to what QBs are making today. Let's see what the landscape looks like in a couple years.
