It doesn't sound likely he'll be back this season. Talib was IR'ed almost immediately.

Perhaps due to some agreement with the player's union, a team can't have an empty spot on their roster. Based on my wild guess, If they move him they would have to fill the slot and maybe they are still scouting to find someone on another practice squad or there is another deal in the works.
