Wade has always preferred to use a lot of press man coverage in his scheme. I'm also sure he's tired of Peters' unwillingness to consistently tackle.
This is assuming the replacement is Long, not the more experienced Darius Williams.
Williams got a lot of positive buzz last summer.
He's not a 3rd round pick so there's not a lot of intel on him.

If they like the corners they have then they like the corners they have.
Not ruling out a trade but truth is, that's not as useful as starting a young guy they like who already knows the defensive system.
They kept 6 CBs this year, which is an unusually high number, plus have a guy on the practice squad.
As I said I would not rule out a trade, but still, it would not surprise me in the least if they started Williams.
