He is constantly changing and evolving his offenses and defenses. He started in NE with a 3-4 defense, then switched to a 4-3. Now he is employing more of a big nickel defense. He has gone from 2 TE sets, to 2 RB sets to 11 personnel, its always evolving.
Quick passing is the only constant, that and big lines. he loves his big lines.
I obviously don't like the guy, but he has figured out that in the NFL, you either evolve of get left behind. McVay needs someone in his ear telling him to evolve.
