DCs, including both Wade and GW, have said that pressures allowed are more important than sacks. Pressures totally disrupt the offense and often lead to turnovers.
The Rams are the worst in the league in pressures allowed. They've given up 115 total pressures in 6 games. They are broken down as follows per PFF:
10 sacks, 14 QB hits, 91 QB hurries. The next worst team in this category are the Charges with 91 total pressures.
The Rams have allowed a whopping 26 more (near 30% more) total pressures than the 2nd worst team!
Unfortunately, YES, they are that bad.
