I do not believe so. I believe the OL, was not great last year and has drastically regressed this season. Loss of Saffold, regression of Whitworth & Hav. Notebloom and Allen have not even played average. ALL of this adds up to struggle city. PPF has the Rams rated as the worst OL in the NFL. I believe wholeheartedly when the LOS improve the Rams will been fine under McVay. Goff has not shown the ability to keep plays alive and thrive under pressure in the pocket. I have faith that McVay will get this turned around given that the talent level drastically improves over the next couple of seasons. Let's face it the Rams NEED drastic additions on OL, DL, and LB, just for starters.
