If Mathews is less aggressive Wilson can pull the ball down and scramble for a first down without passing the ball.
The fact Wilson is so good at scrambling and there was no overly aggressive or head to head hit on the play there should have been no penalty.
The league might as well outlaw sacks all together and not allow quarterbacks to be hit or sacked and only make defenders corral qb’s and wave their hands in their faces.
