I even heard some chatter about trades! I was at the game in New York vs the Jets and I have to admit, I thought he was loafing and something just was not right. There was little burst . The effort seemed almost weak. THEN, in 2017, he exploded. He has been up and down his whole career. I think he will be fine.

He wasn't himself. It had nothing to do with the normal "blame the player" pscyh stuff...according to McGinnis, he was not playing healthy that year. Something was wrong physically. And whatever it was, it went back to the off-season. According to his own admission he starting working out "a month or two" (his words) later than usual. He lost weight. He did not practice much if at all that summer. And immediately right out of the gate in his first game you could see he was not the same player physically.

In 2016 Gurley had Jeff Fisher as head coach

Fisher gets great credit for the draft pick and the blame

Lets not get fooled on 2015

Rams_81104September 24, 2019 01:56PM

Gurley had no chance of success with Fisher
