I totally agree of course that the offense is not performing efficiently or consistently. But they're also not exactly struggling or anemic either.
They're averaging 25.7 PPG vs. 29.3 PPG (plus a defensive and special teams TD) through three games last year.
358 yards/game vs. 439.3 yards/game a year ago.
Goff 84.5 QB rating, 4 TD/3 INT through 3 games vs. 111.0, 6 TD, 2 INT a year ago.
Of course last year game #4 was their masterful 38 point, 556 yards effort vs. MINN and Goff had a perfect 158.3 QB Rating. Let's see how things stand year-over-year after this Sunday.
They have A LOT of work to do on offense overall. But, as Peter King wrote today, they deserve a lot of credit not only for being 3-0 but for winning two east coast games in three weeks vs. competitive teams. They did not play the Dolphins and Jets.
