I consider myself a strong Rams fan but I see no harm in acknowledging the bad with the good.
Lots of good:
We’re 3-0 despite many challenges.
Rams survived (so far) starting 2 youngsters on OL.
Rams survived the Blythe injury.
Rams survived the Higbee injury.
Rams survived 2 early cross country road trips.
Rams D is looking pretty darned good despite not yet being fully gelled.
Several players exceeding most expectations. Kupp, Boom, Allen, Fowler, Matthews, Littleton, Hager (yes, Hager in his limited role), Talib, Peters, Rapp, NRC, Weddle, JJ.
That is a TON of good news, y’all. All against 3 above average teams.
But there have been some disappointments, as well.
McVay seems a bit out of sync.
Goff has had his moments, but has been nowhere near expectations coming out of camp.
Been too many uncharacteristic drops by receivers.
Gurley seems detached and somewhat out of sync.
I firmly believe that this O will get in rhythm over the course of these next 3-5 games. I also believe that this O will ultimately exceed that of 2018.
