the tv ref said unless the ref on the field thought he threw the ball he doesn't blow the whistle... to me that means the ref on the field thought it was a pass. end of story... but probably not with the whiney saints.

and the announcers didn't help matters with the "poor saints keep getting cheated by the league". Must have forgotten when the league gave them the SB after Katrina. kidding of course...
