In the Rams 45-35 loss to the Saints last year they put Brown in inside the red zone and he scored a TD on an acrobatic sideline catch
I think people are reading too much into that and especially after one game.
It appeared to me that the plan was to use Brown as a battering Ram to bang out the tough yards and preserve Gurley.
I don't think it's a coincidence that Brown got the majority of the touches in the first 3 quarters to wear down the D and in tough yardage situations such as 3rd and short or when it's congested in the RZ.
I agree that it's only one game so we'll see going forward.
