And, I don't even agree that the Rams game was a statement game. It was just 1 of 16 games. Sure I'm happy the Rams won (they could have won by a larger margin without a couple of miscues.... although the Rams were really in charge most of the game).
Statement games don't come in September.
yeah, the guy is a bit of a tool....it was about who made the biggest statement in week one.
his point was that they went on the road in a tough environment at a tough time for west coast team and showed no signs of a Super Bowl hangover...far from their best game and still found a way to win...also showed Gurley is far from done.
