If it was anybody else than Simms, I'd say "good".

Simms is living off of his father's good name.
The guy is a stiff.

And, I don't even agree that the Rams game was a statement game. It was just 1 of 16 games. Sure I'm happy the Rams won (they could have won by a larger margin without a couple of miscues.... although the Rams were really in charge most of the game).

Statement games don't come in September.
