First, I think that the Rams are pretty happy with their OLB situation on both sides this year. We don’t need no stinkin’ Clowney, IOW. Lol.
Second, I think that Clowney has been overrated so far and I hope that the Seahawks cripple themselves cap-wise and pick wise by trading for him. Remember when the young Hav handled Clowney easily a few years ago?
Third, the Rams have enough elite players on their roster to win a SB providing that Snead continues to find gems via draft and the occasional 2nd tier trade or FA. Heck, the Rams have lately been drafting players with the intention of redshirting them for their rookie year! I think that Snead/McVay seem to have hit a perfect balance of superstars and quality depth for this team. To the point that we’re agonizing today over an inevitable 5-7 cuts of promising playmaker types that will likely be snatched off the waiver wire.
Rams are in a REAL good place from the FO, coaches, and loaded roster pov. I wouldn’t trade places with any other NFL team. Would you?
