Some of his throws are what we have talked about ad infinitum regarding Goff... especially that first year. Not just 'every' QB can make some of the throws Wolford made in that game.
Obviously that ain't 'enough'... but it's sure as heck an indicator that he can make darned near every throw in the book that's required of an NFL QB. If you're scrambling, off balanced, and throw a laser accurate pass for a completion, more than a few times, it doesn't mean 'squat' that it was against scrubs... it means it was a damned good passing.
I'm sure he's not up to speed on the system... the way Goff and Bortles, no work or very little with the starters.... they ain't keeping him.... but the kid did extremely well, he got noticed, he CAN make throw.... yeah, he proved something. My opinion of course. - JamesJM

The former AAF star John Wolford made a few beautiful throws in this game, two of which went for touchdowns. He also limited mistakes, for the most part, rounding out an overall solid performance against Houston.
