I wouldn't take him over ANYONE ELSE in the league. That's way too unobective for me.

But he's good and improving. I like him. I'm one of his oldest defenders. I can post you links to where I defend him while he was playing poorly in 2016. I like him and I like the Rams chances with him.

But in the national eye, he has to look good in the final game. I get that. He will, and the narrative will change, but it;'s understandable for non-Rams fans to see it that way at this point.

Partly because as Rams fans we know more, so we expect more---but national writers cover 32 teams and they do not know any single team as well as we know the Rams.
