Most people were saying that Goff wasn't any good. Keyshawn Johnson said on the radio that the Rams needed to find a different starting quarterback and he specifically talked about Colin Kaepernick. Around that same time, I remember Lindsey saying something like, "I'll start writing about him (Goff) when he does something worthwhile."

From what I've read and heard from her since, she gives Goff credit for playing well. It's a tribute to her professionalism.
