The battle for playing time between Ebukam, Matthews, Okoronkwo, T Young, and Lawler.
I suspect Fowler's playing time is locked in. Matthews likely is locked in for more part-time and hybrid position duty. While the other EDGE is a battle royale. I expect everyone but Fowler and Matthews to get alot of preseason playing time. Will be fun. Don't sleep on Trevon.
Also, how the dbs are deployed. Does Wade play Christian and Rapp differently? Who gets more time? Does Long play any slot or is just a boundary backup?
The offensive positions seem locked in to me. Though I expect the playing time of Higbee and Everrett to flip. I think this is the year Everrett gets more snaps. And I suspect leads us to use less bunch formations(all 11 offensive players between the hashes). Think of a situation like this--trips left(Cook, Woods, Kupp), Everett short split right. If defense leaves a corner on Everrett we run, if the defense leaves a S/Lb on Everrett he runs a seam or corner. Could be a nice addition to the playbook.
