+1 the comment about overmatched OL.

People saw the Super Bowl and what the Bears did and assume all you need to do is crash the middle and the McVay offense is solved. (Which I guess is why the Packers and Bengals hired McVay coaches?) I'm pretty sure McVay has noticed this issue and has a few ideas on how to exploit it.

As I recall the Martz offense had similar rumors of being solved.

It comes down to the players, not the scheme.

It did worse when the OL was overmatched. That's a personnel issue that had mostly to do with the combo of Sullivan and Blythe.
