That is a great piece of analysis and makes all the sense in the world. I have just one thing to add: I would bet a ton of money that the Rams had a backup plan - another player or 2 that they would have taken if Rapp got picked by another team ... guys that they 'would have been happy to take at 31' too. Considering how they lost out on Bobby Wagner I truly believe that Snead won't trade down anymore unless there are enough guys on his board to cover those type of contingencies.
Adderley might even been one of those guys: perhaps if Rapp was picked at 60 the Rams would gave snagged Adderley?
