Not since the bye.
Looked pretty good against Niners, Cards, Cowboys, Saints since the bye..... don't know how you missed all those games???
Don't know why you are so bent on trying to tear him down
Maybe this will cheer you up
I don't know why you can't just have a conversation about Goff without seemingly taking it personally. Goff was terrible after the bye and the numbers and video clearly illustrate his struggles. He had a great season up until the bye and then hit the wall. That doesn't mean that every single play since the bye was bad but I don't think you're being honest if you can't say that his last 8 games were a struggle.
How he is playing "right now" presents some questions heading into next year. Will he return to how he was playing before the bye or will his most recent half a season's worth of games become the norm? It's a valid question and concern considering this isn't the only time he's played like this as a pro. Why have his numbers reverted to what they were as a rookie? That's kind of concerning for a guy who outplayed Mahomes in week 11. I mean, Mahomes didn't drop off a cliff. He put up 16TD/2INT to finish out his season. Isn't it worth examining why Goff went from MVP frontrunner to 7TD/8INT and a shell of his recent self?
The Bears review seems to illuminate some of the problems, don't you think?
Not taking it personally, just find it odd that some expect perfection from this kid in every game....
Did you see what ZN just posted about Brady and how many struggles he had in his third year?
The Bears game was an anomaly in sub freezing weather where the whole team was a step slower than the home team that day.
It's complete hyperbole to say he was terrible ever since the bye ..... Goff had a few bad games, Det, Bears, Pats....go back and watch the Niner, Cards, Cowboys and Saints game and tell me he was terrible or he struggled...How??? Even the Eagles game he rallied the team and was a fumbled punt away from finishing the comeback. In all of the games Goff struggled there is one common denominator - his o-line struggled - most QB's tend to do the same when that happens
Pointing to a 7/8 TD/INT ratio as some sort of proof is ridiculous..... He had 4 ints in ONE game(Bears) where the whole team (o-line, Gurley) went MIA
Go watch the NFC Championship game and tell me he was terrible or that he was a "shell of his recent self"
He went 5-3 in their last 8 games including the playoffs and super bowl....not exactly falling off a cliff
You want to worry about it, go ahead...I'm not gonna do that.
