There might be an argument to be made that Wentz when healthy is better than Goff. They are both really good but different types of quarterbacks. I think Goff is better but I can see how an argument can be made for Wentz.
The market now is pretty well established with Wilson and now Wentz signing these big deals and prices are only going to rise.
I feel there is a lot less risk in signing Goff to a long term deal than either Wentz or Prescott. Goff stays on the field and Wentz gets injured due to how he plays the position. Goff is much better then Prescott. Goff is a dedicated, smart hard working guy who is a leader and team first type of guy. Based on his performance and projecting his future and ability to stay on the field he is the safest bet out there. Prices for a franchise QB are pretty steep but you are screwed if you don't have one and if you don't have one you are going to be looking for one. The Rams will bite the bullet and sign Goff to a deal similar to Wentz. I think they were waiting to see what the market was and now that it is clearly established the deal will get done and probably soon.
I was hoping for 28-32 M per but seems the upper end of that range is now the floor.
