It is a small thing, but I think it speaks to the character of McVay.
Watch at the very end of the video. I don't know who all the people in the video are, but assume they are members of McVay's staff.
McVay climbs into the van, and immediately bypasses the center seats and clambers into the back seat of the vehicle.
He is the head coach, the boss, and he without thought takes the worst seat in the van. Can any of you imagine Mike Martz, or Jon Gruden, doing the same? Most head coaches would just assume they were riding shotgun, or take the most comfortable seat because they are important.
McVay climbs in the back and does it without thinking. Maybe this means nothing, but to me it speaks to the humility of the man and why people like working for him. Hell, my kids would have fought for 5 minutes over who had to sit in the back.
