they'd be wise to limit Matthews reps

Matthews is not the type that is going to coast... But the Rams should use him judiciously and not as an every-down player. I'm sure he'll see work on both the edge and at ILB. But I would like to see him limited to 40 snaps/game. He averaged 47/game over the past two years in Green Bay. Between the younger guys the Rams have at OLB and that Matthews is 33 it will help to keep him fresh. I'm sure he will get weekly "veterans days off" like the Rams have done with Whitworth, Sullivan, etc.
