I agree. He could clearly play if healthy. His QB rating the past 4 years (on three different teams) is 92.1. At minimum he would be the most sought after backup in the league. But the knee is just too much of an issue for him at this point. For a guy turning 32 this fall he is better off walking away so that he can hopefully walk ok when he is in his 50s.
