Agreed, with the way things are now you do not get to pay what you think the player is worth, it's the going rate, and if you won't another team will.
He is getting the going rate, and if they were able to do it this year they would imo. Because it is only going to cost more next year. But they could always let
him walk(or trade him) and go with Bortles.
