I think that article really points out the potential game breaking ability that DH brings to the table. In some ways it is hard to imagine how the will use DH as we always seem to be in an 11 personnel group. I doubt he is an accomplished pass blocker so they will need to get him on the field where his pass blocking is not an issue. What I find exciting is that he may provide a new dynamic to the offense in a 2 back formation where he lines up all over the field and his a threat from wherever he is lined up. I think defenses did a better job against us towards the end of the year and that McVay is looking to become even more unpredictable and harder to defend. I am excited about the prospects of getting Kupp back, the emergence of Everett as an explosive play maker being featured more and of Henderson having a role where he is on the field for 20-25% of the offensive snaps.

If the offensive line plays well which I think is a bit of an unknown right now the rest of the offense should be improved as we have ascending players that are totally comfortable in the system. Of course that assumes Gurley is healthy and productive. The Gurley knee situation may turn out to be a blessing in disguise as it has forced McVay to consider diversifying the offense and making an investment in another play maker. Even if totally healthy moderating the load that Gurley carries is a positive development for his long term future and gives the Rams more diversity in the present and redundancy in case of injury.

So call me pumped up at this point.
