No wild picks.
No picking a round too early.
No picking a guy who you wonder how they fit with the schemes.
No picking a workout warrior EARLY who doesn't have the production to show for it.

And, no picking knuckleheads who aren't quite sure if they prefer Football or partying.

McVay also points out that with the intact staff, and now the 3rd year in the program, they have a such a good idea of exactly what they're looking for in a player. Scheme fits only.

Can they miss? Yep. Will they miss occasionally? Of course. But the recent past says no big misses, and some awfully good pick ups in the mid and later rounds, even UDFAs.

Snead and McVay are proving, so far, to be a formidable combo. And with their combined youth, could be a team for a very long time.
Fingers crossed that this year's haul proves to be as productive as the last couple of years.
