I don't know if Snead will trade down.... or up....or stay put. But it will be circumstance based and not because of any obsession. As he said in the pre-draft conference, he's not smart enough to know what all the teams before him will do. And in order to move up or down, you need a partner.
Perhaps Snead sees a few elite talents and wants one so he stays put or even moves up.
Perhaps Snead sees a whole lot of guys that fit the Rams that grade so close to each other that it almost doesn't matter which they draft, so moving down makes sense.
I don't know. And the media doesn't know. The Rams are about as good at being mysterious and tight lipped as the Pats.
But, the media has to talk about something and so we get these articles about what some team is going to do. Hogwash. Sure, they might hit something right. Some things are painfully obvious. But what each team will do is cloaked in secrecy. Like they say: a broken clock is right twice a day.
