We tend not to hear much from these sessions of classroom, and conditioning, however it makes me wonder how much of what they see, and intuit from their players applies to the impending draft.
How does Bortles consume the playbook?
The rehabbing players, and their progress?
2nd and 3rd year players and their development between the ears and in brawn.
At some point, they have to assess their roster depth
"If we lost this one player, it would devastate our season."
Who is that player?
Let's just remove the QB quotient from this convo, cuz it would kill, and does kill at team every year.
And, after you assess that player, how do you solve the roster depth at that spot. Is it through the draft? Or, is this question asked later? Say in June.?
This very notion was tossed out on Sirius the other day, and that's when the former GM said they'd look at that problem, In June.
So, I was curious if anyone felt this was an easier answer to an awful question.
What player would devastate the club if they were to be injured? Again, less the QB.
