I would think they could have done something creative like that for Talib, given that he was acquired for a 5th round pick. But anyway.

My guess for the Rams at CB is they try to draft a kid in the 3rd-5th rounds that can step in as the CB4 this year with a larger role eyed for 2020. And maybe they can make another veteran CB acquisition like with Talib next March. Or they target a CB in the 1st or 2nd rounds of 2020.
