What the BPA is a QB? A QB at 31 is not going to play or be rated to even take Goff job down the road. We already have Bortles for #2. This is just an example but it would be very doubtful they would take a QB at 31 even if the saw him as the BPA.

WR would be another position I doubt the would take unless the BPA was rated significantly higher than anyone else on their board.

Then you trade down. If no trade down is available, then you pick the next BPA that’s not a QB. Basically only eliminate positions that you absolutely will not need for several years. In the Rams case, they can pretty much draft any position but QB.

Even the right WR, if he had a unique skill set that they’re missing would help.

But a trade back would likely be available because Snead has said in prior drafts that the phones are always ringing.
