Ram’s FO approach to offseason is different this year, is it a good thing??

March 25, 2019 02:20PM
Just realized something. This year the Rams have taken a much different approach this offseason. I think it is a good thing, perhaps a very good thing.

This is McVay’s 3rd offseason. Last year they made a lot of moves for a team coming off an 11-5 record, their best in over a decade. This year, will fewer needs & less $$, they are taking a different approach. I like this because some FO’s seem to ttake the same approach every year, regardless of their current circumstance. They never seem to learn from their mistakes. I do think McVay is still finding his feet, and he seems so eager to learn.

Compared to the pat 7 offseasons, all the way back to Fisher’s hiring, this offseason is boring by comparison. I’m curious to see how they handle the draft. Will they go for need, best player available, drop down, move up...
