Some teams overlook football players just because they don't fit the height/weight requirements they have. The Rams appear avoid that mistake by looking at results and projecting them to the NFL without regard to rigid measurables. I don't think they specifically seek smurfs, but I also don't think they cross short/light guys off their list just because they're short/light. It would be interesting to know how many teams took Aaron Donald off their board simply because he measured 6'1", 285 lbs at the combine.
