Tillery has way too much Suh in him without Suh's talent. He did figure it out a bit his Senior year, but if he reverts after getting paid, that is a lost pick for a team in a SB window.
Polite is a little different. His teammates liked him, unlike Tillery who was not good in the locker room. But his concerns were about maturity and accountability. And showing up to the combine fat and out of shape and then blaming teams for picking on his tape in interviews kinda confirmed what scouts were worried about.
Here is a blurb from Fansided:
The character concerns with Polite are comprised of a variety of factors. There are some minor concerns about maturity and accountability. There also are some minor worries about how he spends recreational time and hobbies. But perhaps the biggest issue is concerns about how Polite conducted himself during his sophomore year when Jim McElwain’s staff was on their way out. Some evaluators are worried that Polite quit on the staff and led teammates to do the same.[
