I just don't put as much stock into testing as some do. I like the on field drills to a point, but they are not in pads and not against live competition. As far as 40 times and short shuttles and 3 cones and the 2 jumps, added all together you can get a feel for how athletic a player is or is not. But a beast like Metcalf doesn't need to win with a sub 7 3 cone. he will win because Cbs will not be able to jam him at the line giving him a free release and they have to respect his deep speed giving him a cushion.
David Sills had a 6.97 3 cone. Who do you think is better at getting separation? And for the record, I really like Sills, but he is no Metcalf.
I agree that Wilson probably isn't a consideration, but it isn't because he is a junior.
I do like Winovich. He seems like he is such a safe pick and a we not me type of guy that is a mainstay for a decade.
