I could see maybe a TE with our 31st. If one even fell. But that’s about it on O for anybody that could possibly be described as explosive.
OL is a possibility, but nobody would ever use that word to describe an OL player, good as he might be.
I suppose one could conceivably describe certain DL, OLB, or ILB players as explosive. That’s where I see the S&M draft focus, anyway. But I doubt that any such will fall to the Rams, given the late Ram picks in the 1st and 3rd rounds.
So yeah, realistically, McVay seems to be blowing a lot of smoke and it’s unlikely to fool anybody.
