Looking to buy tickets for the NFC Championship game against the Bucs for the 99 season (January 23, 2000). I was moving to various scalpers to see what they had and I see the Rams EQUIPMENT Manager scalping tickets (I assume for the players). I later learned his name. Great game and I always looked at him fondly after that and when I would see him come into focus during any Televised game during a sideline shot I never failed to say "That's the dude I bought my championship tickets from!". Alas, he will be no longer. . . .
I never saw him doing that on any other occasions but always thought that was interesting - though I also bought tickets from Rams LB Frank Stams in the 1980s in a game HE WAS PLAYING IN - after he sold me the tickets, I told him I heard the rams were cheap but players scalping their own seats in the parking lot before a game (during the Big A days) WTF?
